Hi y’all
It has been brought to my notice that the Inland Revenue issued incorrect PAYE coding notices to two million people last year i.e. year ended 05/04/2014.
If any of you in employment would like to check on their tax coding you should ring 0845 900 0444 give your National Insurance number and state why you are calling. I can also easily check if the coding is correct by looking at your P60 for last year. I would urge all Spotlight members to check their coding as the Inland Revenue are far from perfect and frequently make mistakes.
