Singing Raises Roof – Scouts busy nailing it back down… *
*Only kidding!
But what a great night of singing was had in the Scout Hut last night (22nd May)
Soloists and Duet(ists?) had their first go (mostly) of singing in front of an audience. The group numbers sounded great and we almost all could remember the words (nearly)
Well done to Richard for providing and mixing the musical backing tracks for “Day by Day” – Steevie is off looking for a suitable stepladder to help him reach the high notes.
A special mention to Eilish who got up and sang for the first time in front of us – as a certain poster on facebook put it…
Just heard a very talented young lady sing tonight…wow and does she have some voice. She will know who she is? Fab voice. Well done for singing in front of all of us. You were great Eilish. xxxxx
So onwards and upwards and looking forward to Thursday for more of the same!
