It is a peaceful day – but not for long – The two planes collide – sending Sam and Billy flying out onto the tarmac – Billy’s back is badly damaged – will he ever be able to dance again? Can he resist telling the rescue crew who is is and the love he has for the theatre?)

Anna Smith (27 played by Debbie Day) and Linda Bloggs  7, Played by Megan Day) – on their way back from the World Cup Circus Juggling Competition on Colonsay are  also on Nicola’s plane  and suffer injuries with Anna having a broken leg and Linda  getting a bit dizzy – are their juggling days over?

Pedro Lewis (18, played by Michael Wall) a world famous pigeon breeder suffers from shock and goes wandering off – can the paramedics stop him from drowning in a small puddle? If not – what will happen to his birds?

Flight Captain Gregory  Harris the XII  – the steadfast pilot with the stiff upper lip , 27  (Played by John Rochead)  holds the film together as the supporting cast (The Fire Crew from Appin & Oban), The Red Cross, Oban Paramedics, Oban Police and the Airport Emergency services rush to the rescue – But are they in time to save Billy’s magic feet?

Little do they know they are being watched by a small  crowd of people  marked with bright orange safety jackets known only as “The Observers”… just what is going on?

In reality – Peter, Ellie, Debbie,  Michael, Megan and Ben  from Oban’s Spotlight Musical Theatre Group all helped out with the Emergency exercise at Oban Airport today (27th of April)  – Steevie and Ellie felt there needed to be a bit more of a back story to the characters and their situation….

All the emergency services were in attendance and we all gave them a good workout with our acting!

Well done to all those who were involved  in what seemed to be a very smooth and efficient operation.
