A Message from Willie
‘I was most impressed by the reading of the play on Tuesday. Spotlight is indeed a versatile company ! Having heard the first reading, I am sure that we can produce an exciting piece of drama for the festival. I do hope that those who took part on Tuesday will audition next week and that those who did not have a part will come forward too – I know that there was a lot of talent unheard that night. Do not worry about the accent or the ‘blacking up’ – the women will be most discreetly dressed in saris and only one man will be exposed to the public ! This is a chance to perform something unusual (unique in fact !) and add to your dramatic repertoire. Do try it !’
