This week with Spotlight

It’s a busy week coming up with Charities Day this coming Saturday (10th June).  If you are able to help out with our stall please get in touch with any of the committee members.  Also we are still looking for donations for the bottle stall – they can be alcoholic, juice, water or even shampoo etc as long as they are a bottle!!  Donations can be dropped off by Thursday at Rockfield Primary’s janitor’s office for Kate.

Alternatively you can bring them along to dancing which is back on this Tuesday at 7.30pm at the Guide Hall.

Hope to see you all at some point this week.

Thank you

Ellie

Donations for Bottle Stall at Charities Day

Donations for Bottle Stall at Charities Day

We will be running a bottle stall at this year’s charities day (Saturday 10th June) and are still looking for donations for the stall.  They can be any kind of bottle from water and wine to shampoo and aftershave.  Kate Bate is collecting them all so the best way would be to drop them off at the janitor’s office at Rockfield Primary in advance of Friday 9th June.

Thank you in anticipation.

MONDAY 20TH FEBRUARY

The scaffolding is being delivered for us to the Corran Halls. We will have access from 12pm on Monday 20th to hopefully 10pm  . We need to build the scaffold on Monday if possible and face it with hardboard before Thursday 23rd.

We need men and/or strong/experienced ladies from the Group from 5pm to help build the scaffold and people to help face the scaffolding before Thursday

Do you know of experienced professionals who will help put it together  for a pint and a bag of pork scratchings?! (Sally is paying….)

Please contact Sally ASAP if you can help

Spotlight MTG are very sad to hear of the passing of Lynn Galbraith, a member of our group who lit up the stage with her beautiful voice.

She sang with Maestro Heald-Smith and was also known to many of us through his Minstrels group.

A gracious and caring lady. Our love and condolences to her husband Colin and all their family.

Betty and her husband Ken were involved with the group for some time.

Betty undertook some choreography for us a number of times and both her and Ken assisted with the technical side of things.

This lovely lady will be missed very much and our condolences go to Ken and all her family
