David Stoddart’s film : Solstice premiered in Oban Tonight (15th December 2009) at the highland theatre with about 100 people in attendence.
Present also were those spotlight members which took part and helped during the production. Margaret and Lesley got into shot and Peter and Steevie’s retreating figures got screen time.
A good time was had by all – and there was even a red carpet!

The bear head as been “found” – or to be more accurate – the bear head was left at the bottom of Louisa’s close all nice and dry and neat. Where it has been – we don’t know – who had it – seems uncertain – reason for absence – we will never know – we are just glad it has returned (and has now been returned to the hire shoppee)! Phew!

OUR BEAR HEAD IS MISSING
The bear head has gone missing between the Corran Halls and the Dance Hall on the Saturday Night of the Strike.
It is part of the hired costume and it is really important we get it back to its company otherwise we will face a HUGE bill. It may have been stuffed into a bag in the dressing rooms, it may have ended up in a props box – anywhere.
If you know if its whereabouts or any ideas where it might have been/gone etc please contact Steevie ASAP on 07879017361 or drop him or Louisa an email.
WE REALLY REALLY REALLY NEED IT BACK

Hi to all Spotlighters,
Surrounded by electricians, plumbers, carpenters, decorators and carpet layers, there has been little time to contact you all, but I’ve been following the updates on your regular website, and wishing I was there with you all.
Well done for the show, reports have been great, as expected from such a super bunch of performers both onstage and backstage.
I keep the Spotlight reports handy so I can look at you all when I get homesick !!
Happy Christmas to you all,
Earle

We hope you enjoy!
